EUDR
EU Deforestation Regulation
Board is bought against mill declarations that carry species, country of harvest and geolocation of the harvest plot. We hold the supplier chain back to the panel mill and pass the due diligence pack through with the shipping documents.
REACH Annex XVII, Entry 77
Formaldehyde emission
We specify E0 board as standard, which sits below the 0.062 mg/m³ limit that applies to furniture placed on the EU market. Emission test reports are issued per board lot, not per year.
EN 1725
Beds and mattresses — safety and strength
Static load, durability and stability testing on bed frames, including the headboard moment tests that most panel beds fail first. Testing is arranged with an accredited laboratory before a new model is released.
AS/NZS 4220
Bunks and beds, Australian market
For customers shipping into Australia and New Zealand, models are assessed against AS/NZS 4220 in parallel with EN 1725 so a single build serves both markets.
EN 14298
Moisture content of sawn timber
Moisture is measured and logged on every production batch, with instrument calibration records kept alongside. This is the single most common cause of panel movement complaints after a winter shipment into Northern Europe.
ISTA / retailer drop test
Transit packaging
Cartons are drop tested to the retail group's own protocol where one exists. Pack design changes are re-tested rather than assumed to carry over.
